#2 - Late Night Snacking....

Do you ever get that guilty feeling of eating something naughty late at night and then hating yourself afterwards for eating it? I must confess, I've done this a million times!
So not wanting to do my usual Maccas run for large fries with Mac sauce, I headed for my local supermarket to pick up some guilt-free snacks to satisfy my rather peckish hunger, even if it meant whipping it up myself. And this is what I came back with.....
Can you guess what I'm making??.....

Yep, I'm making me some guacamole with Grain Waves instead of corn chips.
There are so many different versions of guacamole out there, so here is mine.....

Ingredients
1 bag Grain Waves
2 ripe avocadoes
A bunch of coriander
1/4 small onion
1 lime
8 baby roma tomatoes
1 clove garlic
2 large pinches of sea salt
*Optional chili

Method

Halve your avocadoes and dice it up like so...

 Dice up your baby tomatoes....

Finely chop up your coriander, I looooove coriander so I like to put in A LOT!

Finely dice your onion or if you don't like the taste of raw onion, you can grate it so it's very fine...

In a motar and pestle, put in your salt and garlic.

Grind it all down until it ends up looking like a smooth paste...

Now this is optional, add your chili, I took the seeds out because this chili was blow-your-head-off hot chili!....

Now mix it all together with a fork, mashing the avocado just enough so that it is still a bit chunky, squeeze in your lime as much or as little, according to how you like it....

Serve it all up with your Grain Waves and Voila! You've got yourself a guilt-free late night (or any time) snack....

Late night snacking just got a whole lot better! Why hello there, Brad Pitt......

What's your guilt-free late night snack??

Until next time, happy snacking....

In my upcoming posts, I hope to do some reviews on makeup items that I've purchased and possibly some tutorials, look of the day, makeup tips & tricks.
And on the food side of things, I'd like to share recipes and delicious dishes that I've whipped up in the kitchen.
So if you too are like me, a lover of food and all things makeup, stay tuned and come follow me.....
